Inside the casket was Philoctera, the Titaness. Well, now she is called that. Then she was just a faceless, merciless monster. She tore through the marines, breaking backs and ripping bodies limb from limb. When she got out onto the deck, even Herodotus couldn’t contain her.

The rabid Titaness jumped into the shallow waters and made her way towards the launch. There she stopped. A small solitary figure rose to face her, armed only with an arc bow, yet fiercely defiant. The Titaness’ and the marine’s gazes met. After what seemed like an eternity, the giant creature slumped into the water and let itself be chained and led onboard the Argo.

That marine, an Argonaut by the name of Phenelope, became her soul-rider.
